Sustainability

  • Sustainability in action!

The Olympic Games mean much more than 16 days of events and the World Union of Olympic Cities encourages and supports the host cities of the Olympic Games and the Youth Olympic Games in implementing a positive legacy of the Games in accordance with environmental, economic and social values.

Sport offers a wide range of promotion and possible actions in ensuring a sustainable development.

Illustrated by relevant case studies or videos and references, the information offers broad guidance on past experiences and lessons learned that should be useful for future Games and their legacy.
