The 2008 Olympic Games and the 2022 Olympic Winter Games make Beijing the first city in the world to host the summer and winter editions of the Olympic Games. The Union is an important bridge connecting Olympic cities and provides a platform for its member cities to learn from each other and seek common development. Beijing will make full use of its unique position as a “dual Olympic city” to better serve the Union’s development.
