Ms. Benjamina Karić is the 39th Mayor of Sarajevo, and second female in history of the City to hold that position. The Mayor will dedicate her mandate to the promotion of tourism of the City of Sarajevo, improving the image of the City as a green and smart city, and the mandate will be marked by continuous efforts to incorporate the Olympic heritage into the city’s urban strategy and to use the knowledge we have gained through the organization of the 1984 Winter Olympic Games and EYOF 2019.
