The conditions of becoming a member
The cities eligible to become an Active Member and the Olympic legacy stakeholders eligible to become an Affiliate Member are those as defined in the statutes (art. 5). The French version of the statutes is available here.

Please note that all membership requests need to be approved by the Executive Committee.
Join the Union
The association enables Member Cities that have already held Olympic Games events and Members Cities that will hold Olympic Games events in the future (Active Members) as well as Olympic Legacy stakeholders (Affiliate Members) to enhance their experience and knowledge in matters of activating managing the tangible and intangible legacy of the Olympic Games, in particular through exchanges of experience at the Summit held every year.
Membership Fees
The obligations and commitments for Cities that join take the form of an annual fee of 5’000 Euros for Cities with Active Member status.
The obligations and commitments for Olympic legacy stakeholders that join take the form of an annual fee of 1’000 Euros for Olympic legacy stakeholders with Affiliate Member status. In 2024, Olympic Legacy Stakeholders joining as Affiliate Members will be offered, as a welcome gesture, three nights of hotel accommodation for one representative of their organisation attending the at the annual summit.
