Gilbert Felli joined the IOC twenty years ago as Sports Director. With a strong experience in the fields of sport, having previously served as the Head of the Sports Department of the City of Lausanne (1983-1990) as well as the Executive Director of the Olympic Games, he collaborated with the ex-President of the IOC, Juan Antonio Samaranch, in order to develop the “Lausanne – Olympic Capital” concept. He is now Senior Olympic Games Advisor with a special focus on Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
