Let’s embark on a journey to the heart of the urban territories of sport! The smartcities & sport summit 2022 will focus on the sportification of cities – or how cities can become playgrounds to bring people closer to sport. Over the two-day conference, we will invite you to step off the beaten track and explore all places, from the most traditional to the most inventive ones, where sport becomes a natural part of the lives of city dwellers and improves their well-being.

A welcome cocktail at Beaulieu Sports Hall on October 23 evening will informally open the smartcities & sport summit, which be held at the Royal Savoy Hotel. A gala dinner will take place at the Beau-Rivage Palace on October 24.

    Additional trip

St. Moritz is the birthplace of winter tourism and modern winter sports. So it’s little wonder that the Alpine town has hosted the Winter Olympic Games twice. The Games helped to shape St. Moritz’s global reputation as a stunning Olympic site in an Alpine valley high above Europe and raised St. Moritz’s profile around the world. Site of the Lausanne Youth Olympic Games in 2020, St. Moritz hosted the bobsleigh and speed skating contests. We will have the opportunity to disover a rich and lively Olympic legacy, supported by a sound sport and tourism development strategy.

    The programme is availble here.
